You can also mix it with boiling water to make a spicy Korean paste to use as a dressing. Unlike most commercial kimchi products, our does not contain fish sauce or dried bonito flakes, so it can be enjoyed by vegetarians and vegans as well.

Inspired by one of the most famous Korean dishes, this blend can be used to jump-start your own kimchi fermented vegetables –  be it the traditional Napa cabbage, or something more unexpected like carrots or brussel sprouts – or as a dry rub for either meat, fish, or meat substitutes, to recreate the fiery flavor of kimchi. This blend is naturally vegan, unlike most commercial kimchi products which contain either fish sauce or dried bonito flakes, so it can be enjoyed by everyone. Mix it with a little boiling water to recreate a hot Korean spicy paste, and use it as a sauce or dressing.

Naturally vegan and gluten-free. Contains soy.

Ingredients: dried Korean chiles, rice flour, salt (30 mg per 1/4 tsp), miso powder (soybean, rice, salt), garlic, cabbage extract powder, sugar, ginger, scallions.
